Whatsmore, they are including a huge 10% of active ingredients which when compared to most other brands who offer 2%, seems unbelievable. However, our research supports their claims. It is obvious these guys really have done their research and created products like nothing else on the market. Chamonix

Chamonix

What Do We Like?
  • Good range of products.
  • Have a good BB rating.
  • Offer discounts if you sign up for their newsletter.
  • Manufactured in the US.
The Downside
  • Only offer 4 month money back guarantee.
  • Low percentage of actives.
  • Unrealistic before/after photos.
Introduction

Chamonix became very well known after they appeared on a radio talk show promoting their brand. Since then, they have grown in popularity. They are a credible brand and offer some great products. Their formulas are slightly on the expensive side however, they do occasionally have offers that you are able to buy multiple products with a certain percentage discount which is a positive. We were able to identify several active ingredients in many of their products but we only identified one or two in each formula. Moreover, the percentage was quite low. One thing that we didn't like about this site were the unrealistic images of before/after - we definitely felt that they were very misleading.

Drunk Elephant

Drunk Elephant

What Do We Like?
  • Made in the US.
  • No Artificial Fragrances.
  • Offer great taster packages.
The Downside
  • No guarantee
  • No clinical evidence or scientific data.
  • High number of inactive ingredients.
Introduction

Let's start with the name because, we love it! But does that mean they deliver when it comes to crazy good formulas? This company have definitely done their research and include a high level of active ingredients in their products. We liked the fact they are a small family run business with a limited range of very well thought out products that people seem to love. We found their website easy to navigate and full of great information. Our main issue was that we could not find any clinical research to back up the claims of these ingredients they include in their formulas, so how can we really tell if they work or not? Read our full review to find out more.

June Jacobs

June Jacobs

What Do We Like?
  • Free delivery over $100.
  • Includes patented antioxidants.
  • Manufactured in an FDA-approved facility.
The Downside
  • Expensive.
  • Does not offer a satisfaction guarnatee.
  • No multiple purchase discounts.
Introduction

This manufacturer's strapline is 'cutting-edge science married with nature', and they state that in each product you can find a combination of the their blend of six antioxidants to combat the visible signs of aging. Sounds great right? But we wanted some hard evidence, some studies to show us that these ingredients work to do what they claim to do. We found this manufacturer slightly overpriced with a facial serum costing over$100. However, they offer discounts and free gifts regularly which for sure will reduce the price down somewhat.

SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals

What Do We Like?
  • Made in the US.
  • Does not contain any harmful ingredients.
  • Have a VIP club.
The Downside
  • Super expensive.
  • No multiple purchase discounts.
  • Not manufactured in an FDA-registered and cGMP-certified facility.
Introduction

SkinCeuticals rely heavily on science to formulate their products and we loved the range of ingredients they include which are detailed in full on their ingredient dictionary page. However, we were disappointed to see that there were no clinical studies to back up the claims about just how effective these ingredients are. That aside, we feel that this is a quality company offering good products. Their products can be found in many locations throughout the US which is great if you want to try some of their products before you buy. We found some of their products to be very expensive though, with some of the products topping $160! With no multiple package discounts ordering your skin care regimen from these guys is going to set you back quite a lot.
