Dr. Oracle Ideal Peptide Cream - Intensive Wrinkle Care

Our #5 Choice

Dr. Oracle Ideal Peptide Cream - Intensive Wrinkle Care is a beautifully packaged anti-wrinkle cream that contains gold flakes in the ingredients. The aesthetic cover and ingredient choice, however, are marred by other components such as the fragrance and alcohol content. There is also no mention of the product being paraben-free anywhere on the site.

Introduction

The #5 anti-Wrinkle cream choice was Dr. Oracle Ideal Peptide Cream - Intensive Wrinkle Care. The ingredients contain Edelweiss flower extract, gold flakes, and a peptide complex for encouragement of elastin and collagen production.

The issue with this cream is that it contains both fragrances, as well as alcohol in the ingredients. These are both ingredients which are considered potentially damaging to skin, hormones, and DNA. There is no disclaimer about the product being paraben-free, which means that it could very well be hiding within the ingredients as a sub-component. We expect skincare companies to be transparent about their formulas, as well as the conditions under which they test and create them (e.g. cruelty free, no animal testing ect.).

Ingredients

The fact that there are no patented ingredients, and so few active ingredients in this product both pose issues to the integrity of the full formula.

  • Edelweiss Callus Culture Extract - for skin elasticity and hydration
  • Panthenol - for nourishment of the moisture barrier
  • Gold - for skin revitalization
  • Peptide complex - for skin firming and texture improvement

How To Use

Use an applicator or finger to scoop the product out of the container. Gently apply and tap skin to absorb on the whole face.

Price

This cream costs $78for a 50ml/1.69fl.oz. bottle, which is a fairly decent price for a higher end product such as this.

Guarantee

There is no money-back guarantee for this cream. This fact, coupled with the knowledge that the main Dr. Oracle office is based out of Seoul, Korea, makes us believe that returning the product or getting compensation would be nigh on impossible for North American consumers. The only return policy mentioned on the site has to do with receiving a defective or wrong product, which is not very encouraging for those who may not be satisfied with the outcome of the cream.

Conclusion

Dr. Oracle Ideal Peptide Cream - Intensive Wrinkle Care definitely does a good job of appealing to the customer’s aesthetic sense. It will grab your attention pretty quickly, and hope that you will assume it is a quality product based on the labeling. The edelweiss culture extract is also a longstanding effective ingredient in skincare formulas.

However, anyone looking farther than the packaging and the enticing gold flake ingredients, will see that there are several problems with this product. The existence of fragrances and alcohol essentially turn anti-aging components into pro-aging ones. The lack of patented ingredients don’t give us much hope for any proven long-term results, and the lack of any sort of customer guarantee is an issue for us, as a skincare review site. Lack of guarantee notwithstanding, the price of this product is fairly decent.

After saying all these critical things about this Dr. Oracle product, we did want to give some praise. The use of panthenol for better skin penetration of the product, and the gold flakes which are proven to contain anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and provide protection against free radicals were fine choices for great skincare ingredients. The peptide complex also contributes to the more efficient absorption capabilities of the different ingredients which need to penetrate the outer skin barrier in order to work more effectively.

All in all, this product had enough positive components for it to make the top tier list, even if it is lower down on that list. We always recommend consumers to do some research into what their products contain before making the purchase and beginning the process of finding the right product for your skin.
