However, 2.5% Retinol is quite a high concentration considering that Retinol has been found to be effective for supporting dermal architecture at only 1%. Other things we liked about this product include the fact that it’s made in the USA and doesn’t include any parabens, sulfates, gluten, or fragrance. We’re big supporters of the philosophy that products shouldn’t have unnecessary extras. It does, however, contain a soy derivative which can be an allergen for some. We read reviews to get a feel for how this product works and many were happy with the results while others found the cream to be too tough on their skin and experienced burning or breakouts. Fortunately, if you are unsatisfied with this product, Simplified Skin has a 100% money-back guarantee with no questions asked.

Although, you should take note that some of the cream will be lost by squirting out of the pump and that there is no effective method to get all of the cream out of the bottle. Conclusion
Even though the percentage of Retinol in this product is too high, we do suspect that all of the added hydrating and antioxidant-boosting ingredients should help most people to cope with the harshness of Retinol. However, there is no information on the percentages available to help us support that claim. Aside from Retinol, the only other percentages that Simplified Skin provides are that the product is 98% natural and 71% organic. We are left wondering what happened to the other 2% and what is the unnatural ingredient.
Whether this ingredient blend works for your skin or doesn’t, the performance of the bottle is sub-par. Normally, we like when our creams come in a pump bottle but in this case, the cream is just too thin and the pump too poorly designed for you to control the amount of cream that comes out at a time. Many of the reviews we read reported losing cream because it sprayed out or wouldn’t come out of the bottle when the quantity got low. This product comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee if you are not happy with the product or its results, which you very likely will end up needing to redeem. You should also consider that this is not an all-in-one product which means that you will have to spend money on other products in order to achieve the full effect. All in all, this is a decent product but there are certainly better products out there.
