In our expert opinion, a customer buying a firming cream should not have to depend on a slew of other creams in order to achieve the results they were looking for.

The patented red ginseng ingredient, while being a good oil-water control for the outer skin, does not provide the benefits that it’s epidermally penetrative or orally administered counterpart might. The lack of proper ingredient formulation in order to compliment this main ingredient, the hinge of this product's appeal, is disappointing. If this formula contained any sort of peptide complex or anything else that could activate the saponin in the ginseng, and allow it to break down into its anti-aging adaptogens, it could have been at the top of this list.

Donginbi Red Ginseng Moisture & Firming Cream offers a mostly well put-together product, albeit with a few issues that dampen its effectiveness. It should still work well as a moisturizer and low grade firming cream, but after delving into all of the main issues with this product, the $77 dollar deal seems less appealing. Still, the existence of some top grade ingredients like mushroom extract, aspergillus, and hydrating oil extracts is what helps keep this cream on our list.
