#2 on the list, Phace Bioactive Rejuvenating Décolleté & Neck Cream uses a wide range of natural ingredients, is a paraben and fragrance free product, and is specially tailored for all skin types including sensitive and photo damaged skin. The use of ingredients such as kelp and algae are a more rare and exotic style for neck firming creams.
One of our main issues with this cream is the fact that it seems to be missing an ingredient. What’s that, you ask? The simplest ingredient that any skincare product must strive for: reliability. The apparent lack of patented ingredients, ingredients which are clinically tested and come hand-in-hand with proven results, is a glaring hole in this otherwise well formulated neck firming cream. As much as the natural components of this cream - when taken at face value - may provide consumers with a feeling of safety, we only rely on skincare products that have tested and proven ingredients and results.
Although there is a 30-day return policy, it does not provide customers with any sort of guarantee. Due to the lack of information on the website about the actual specifics of the return policy, we suspect that customers who are not satisfied with the product may not be liable for a refund. Usually, if there is no satisfaction guarantee displayed on the front page, it means that the policy is most likely very strict and will only allow people to return items that were damaged or incorrectly shipped them. This is, of course, speculation. However, in our experience with skincare products, most companies tend to do things the same way, so it’s fairly simple for us to pick up on certain patterns in order to predict the most likely scenario.
Ingredients
The general lack of patented ingredients puts a dent in this product, but the use of kelp and algae as well as peptides working in synchronicity with collagen shows that this is still a well thought out formula.
Additionally, L-ascorbic acid lowers the pH of this product which in turns lowers the skin’s pH (it’s normally between a pH of 4.0-5.0). This means people with sensitive skin may experience irritation when using this product.

Conclusion
The Phace Bioactive Rejuvenating Décolleté & Neck Cream is altogether a great product. It has most of the elements of a great firming cream, and a great skincare product. Conscientious buyers usually look for products using natural ingredients that do not have any parabens, sulfates or fragrances, and on that front Phace Bioactive comes through.
In terms of reliability, however, customer reviews can only go so far. It’s best to have an objective understanding of what results certain ingredients are most likely to produce, and then apply that knowledge to your own understanding of your skin. In laboratory conditions, outside factors are not an issue, so the results are produced in a vacuum. Once a customer knows the base expectancies, they can transpose it onto themselves, while taking into account any outside factors that they know about themself (skin conditions, sensitivities, etc.). At the end of the day, each person knows their own body the best, so ideally a skincare company should provide consumers with sterile knowledge of the product and its results, and allow the customer to calculate how it would work for them. Any patented ingredients provide this exact type of theoretical database for the customer to pull from, and this is the edge that this product is missing.
The fact that this product does not contain a customer guarantee is always worrying to us. If a customer does not have one to back up their purchase, the purchase becomes a risk. Any company that wants to show it’s trustworthiness to customers should make sure the customer feels that they are making a risk free purchase. Besides this negative point, we did want to praise the well designed formula for the use of peptides together with the collagen. These peptides will break down the collagen molecules so that they can penetrate the skin and provide all of the revitalizing benefits that they are supposed to.
This product truly earned its place as #2 on the list, despite the few problematic aspects that we identified.
