The above ingredients are primarily for moisturizing the skin. Some ingredients have more than one benefit. Glycerine is also an emollient, which means it can also soften the skin. Sunflower seed oil protects from sun damage to slow down the development of signs of aging. Niacinamide, a variant of vitamin B-3 strengthens and brightens the skin while reducing inflammation to decrease dark spots. These are all good ingredients but the last ingredient on our list, 1,2-Hexanediol, gives us pause. Though it is considered to be safe, 1,2Hexanediol is suspected to possibly lead to dermatitis, and cause irritation around the eyes. In small amounts, however, these effects would most likely be negligent. Considering that this product is an eye bag remover, we would prefer it didn’t include potentially irritating ingredients. At least, COSRX made this product without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or alcohol.

This product is on the cheaper side at 28$ for 0.85 oz. However, it’s not an all-in-one product. This cream is to be applied after applying essence or ampoule. Therefore, you have to factor in the price of the other product that you are going to use with it.
Guarantee
There is no customer guarantee with COSRX. Their refund policy allows for the return of unopened products within 30 days of purchase. Additionally, they charge a 10% restocking fee on all returns.
Conclusion
We like that this product comes in an airtight bottle with a pump to keep it from contamination. We also like that it contains 5 peptides and several other moisturizing ingredients. However, there are very little details about the actual quantities of these ingredients and if they are considered to be the formula's active ingredients (higher concentration), or just part of the standard inactive ingredients. We don’t like that COSRX offers no customer guarantee. When a product or company has a customer guarantee, it’s easier to trust that the product will work and is worth buying. The application directions state that this should be applied after applying essence or ampoule. The thing is, essence and ampoule both have moisturizing properties so if you use both together then you can’t tell if only one is actually effective or if they both work together. If you’re looking for moisturizer, this product will work perfectly for you. However, if you’re looking for a reliable eye bag remover it might be worth trying a higher-end, scientifically supported eye bag remover.
